Like the Enterprise CAL, the Plus CAL is an additive CAL, and can only be purchased once the Lync Server 2010 Standard CAL has been acquired.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  A server license and a minimum of 5 CALs are required. Lync Server Plus requires a Standard CAL for every Plus CAL.

Microsoft Open Business Licensing is for small to mid-sized organizations that have fewer than 250 desktop PCs and who order as few as five licenses.
